Founder & President
Mina Molavi
With 53 years of experience in medical billing and practice management, including roles with Anthem Blue Cross and as billing coordinator at Hoag Hospital, where she oversaw billing and collections for 40 physicians, Mina founded MB Medical Billing Services in March 2004.
The practice grew through client referrals alone, and today MB Medical Billing is based in Orange County, offering clients throughout California full revenue cycle management and practice consulting. Mina holds an MBA from Chapman University and has taught billing and coding at Irvine Career College and American Career College.
I have known Ms. Molavi since 1996 in a professional relationship. From 1996 to 1999 she was the office manager for my Podiatric Surgical Medical practice. In 2004, she stated her own company, MB Medical Billing Services. I have used her billing since 2004 and have had no problems with her services. She is very attentive to detail and meticulous in her work. I am not aware of any complaints regarding her work as a medical biller. She has always been very courteous and professional with all my patients. As a professional billing service, I expect her to be aggressive yet professional with all her collection efforts, which she has been. She understands how to be aggressive with insurance companies and yet “gentle” and professional with individual patients.
